Cancellation Policy
Please be aware that Leaf & deVine Church does not offer refunds for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays, illness, pandemics, or any other unfortunate tragedy that might cause you to cancel your ceremony. If you cancel your participation in a church plant medicine ceremony for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate way possible so as to ensure that if you do have to cancel, that you still have an opportunity to use your deposit for a future ceremony. To protect yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
IF YOU CANCEL THE RETREAT:

60-30 days or more prior to the start of the retreat you will receive: all 100% of the paid deposit or payment – to be applied toward another ceremony within 12 months.

29-15 days prior to the start of the ceremony you will receive: 50% paid deposit credit or 75% of your full payment credit - to be applied toward a future ceremony within 12 months and will forfeit the remainder.

14 days or less prior to the start of the ceremony you will receive: No refunds or credits for deposits will be given. For a full payment, 50% credit will be applied to a future ceremony within a 12 month period the remaining amount will be forfeit. While we do sympathize with any unfortunate situation that might you might have experienced that would lead you to cancel late, we do make it our policy to strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance and therefore, are not responsible if you fail to do so.
To cancel, you must send an email stating that you wish to cancel to: leafanddevinechurch@gmail.com and then give us a call to confirm your cancelation. 720-936-3822.
IF WE CANCEL THE RETREAT:
While it is highly unlikely that The Leaf & deVine Church is forced to cancel a plant medicine ceremony due to unsafe weather, natural disaster, political upheaval, or pandemic shut-down, we will NOT be able to offer a refund. In lieu of a refund, The Leaf & deVine Church will offer you the opportunity to use your deposit or payment for a future ceremony – We also will not be able to compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment and cover the risks involved with travel.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance is to purchase trip insurance.
Travel Insurance can protect you in the event that:
• you cancel your participation in The Leaf & deVine plant medicine ceremony
• the plant medicine ceremony is canceled due to weather, pandemic, natural disaster, or not enough participants to run the plant medicine ceremony
• lost baggage
• medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured
We recommend TRAVELGUARD, which offers a variety of travel insurances, including the option for a comprehensive “cancel for any reason” policy. If you cancel your ceremony– for any reason – your airfare, hotel, travel costs, ceremony cost, etc. up until 48 hours prior to travel, it will be covered. This comprehensive package is called the “Gold Package Cancel for Any Reason Policy”. You must contact Travelguard and purchase the policy within 15 days of buying your airline tickets or incurring any costs for any part of your travel. You can also choose to insure only your airfare. Travelguard can give you quotes for each scenario.
